In 2011, Heather Rooney McBride opened her own firm with substantial goals: to provide top quality legal services, to offer better client communication than the large firms, and to give clients more meaningful opportunities to strategize on decisions about their cases.
She had previously practiced with a smaller local firm as well as a large, multi-state firm, and she saw how she could improve and do things differently. Over the past eight years, she surely has, and business has grown! Scott A. Smith joined the firm in 2012, and Rooney McBride & Smith has expanded to a team of seven attorneys with twelve support staff. Their attorneys have more than 105 years of combined experience, individually ranging from 28 years to three years. Each work daily to provide excellent legal work product and advocacy, clear client communication and meaningful results.
Their practice includes business and corporate transactions and compliance, commercial litigation, estate planning and estate litigation, real estate and domestic law. RMS helps business clients save thousands of dollars by providing them with front-end advice and protective documentation for their operations. They obtain great results for litigation clients, either through settlement or trial.
