Technology is the backbone of business. That’s why Biz 417, in partnership with the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) of the Ozarks, celebrates the standouts and the innovators in 417-land’s technology and business communities in the third annual Excellence in Technology Awards. The awards, open to all organizations and industries, recognize corporate entities and individuals.

An outside panel of judges reviews and scores all nominees based on the following criteria: overall accomplishments, the relevance of accomplishments to the technology sector, their scope of impact and involvement in the greater IT industry/community. The call for nominations begins in October each year, and nominees are required to submit a questionnaire to be considered for any award. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on February 27, 2020, and profiled in a subsequent issue.
