Kyle Hubbard’s favorite podcast is The Bill Simmons Podcast, which features guests from the NBA and NFL, plus a few pop culture guests. “About everyone he has on, I enjoy listening to. I enjoy his perspective. I went to the Masters [Tournament] one time and saw him, and I was probably more excited to see him than anyone else. He used to write a column for ESPN.”
Revisionist History Podcast

“I like Revisionist History by Malcolm Gladwell, who is also an author. It talks about different people and different things that have occurred around history, and they give a different perspective on it. I think it’s pretty good. I listen to a lot of podcasts. It’s a good way to spend time and try to learn something.”

“[I follow] anything to do with Oklahoma Sooners Football. I’m a big college football fan. That may not get very many people in this area interested, but being originally from Oklahoma, that’s the other one I listen to quite often. I just moved here this year from Oklahoma, so I’m a big OU fan. I played basketball at a small college, but I feel like I can claim OU because we didn’t have a football team.”

According to the podcast's website, this podcast “features stories from the world of sports and beyond.” Hubbard said he was particularly fond of the episode that focused on March 11 of last year. “March 11 was the date in the U.S. when people got very serious about the virus and what effect it was having on everything, and a big reason is that’s when they shut down an NBA game. [...] I think that got the attention of everybody. Sometimes what’s happening in the news and what’s happening politically seems just that—political. People don’t know what to trust. When they started canceling sports, everyone thought ‘whoa, this is actually pretty serious.’”
